Knorr [1] ( born Knarr ) is a small Martian impact crater located on the plateau of Meridian . The coordinates of the crater - . The crater visited the Opportunity rover on March 28, 2005 (418 sol ) [1] . The diameter of the crater is about 7 meters . Around and inside the crater there are rocks that were thrown out upon impact. The crater is located 72 m north of the Viking crater, 173 m north of the Voyager crater, and 1.2 km from the large (relatively nearby craters) Erebus crater. In the north, 781 meters from it is a small crater, James Caird , who also visited the rover. Studies of the crater were limited to its visual inspection (of no scientific value). Named after the Viking ship Knorr [1] .
