Hespitsen ( French Geispitzen ) - a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Mulhouse district , canton of Brenstat [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Sirens (Mulhouse County).

The commune is located at a distance of about 400 km east of Paris , 100 km south of Strasbourg and 50 km south of Colmar [3] .
