Dremov, Pavel Leonidovich

Born in the city of Stakhanov ^{[2] [6] [9]} , Borisovka microdistrict.

From his own words, a participant in the Second Chechen campaign ^[2] . He served in the Ukrainian army with the rank of junior sergeant (1994-1996) ^{[8] [10]} . Before the conflict in eastern Ukraine, he worked as a bricklayer ^{[3] [6] [8] [11]} . He was an activist of one of the local Cossack organizations.

In April 2014, he participated in the assault on the Lugansk SBU, then in May he became one of the commanders of the Stakhanov Cossack self-defense. Also headed the Severodonetsk garrison. In June 2014, the detachments of Dremov and Mozgovoy occupied the famous "triangle": Lisichansk - Severodonetsk - Rubezhnoye ^{[3] [6] [11]} and declared direct subordination not to the LPR authorities, but to the Donbass People’s Militia Commander Igor Strelkov ^{[3] [12] [6]} .

He was the commander of the central front of the Cossack National Guard and Major General of the Cossack National Guard of the Great Don Army. He commanded the 1st Cossack motorized rifle regiment named after Ataman Platov of the KNG VVD regiment, which in the spring of 2015 was transformed into the 6th separate Cossack motorized rifle regiment named after the ataman Platov of the LPR People’s Militia, was promoted to colonel of the LPR People’s MP. ^{[3] [6] [8]} .

At the end of December 2014, a video message from Dremov won great popularity on the network, in which he, using profanity, gave his harsh critical assessment to the leadership of the LPR headed by Plotnitsky ^[13] . The journalist O. G. Dzhemal expressed the opinion that “ in terms of artistic expressiveness this appeal is not inferior to the famous letter of the Cossacks to the Turkish Sultan ” ^[13] . Dremov accused the LPR authorities of collaborating with the Kiev regime and stealing Russian humanitarian aid and threatened Igor Plotnitsky with a " flash drive with compromising evidence " ^{[12] [6]} .

In February 2015, it was blacklisted by the European Union ^{[9] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18] [19]} .

According to political views, he was a supporter of the nationalization of large property, a "socially just monarchy ", sympathized with Russian nationalists ^[6] .

Death

He died on December 12, 2015 during a trip to his own wedding (the bride - the director from St. Petersburg Tatyana arrived in Novorossia in 2015 in search of her missing brother) at the Palace of Culture.
