Nativity Vologda - the abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed as part of Fatezh Uyezd in Kursk Province . The administrative center was the village of Znamenskoye.

Geography
Located in the central part of the county, occupied the territory south of Fatezh . As of 1877, the area of ββthe volost was 16,958 acres (about 185 sq. Km) - 5th place by county.
History
It was formed during the peasant reform of 1861. The territory of the volost has repeatedly changed. By 1877, part of the territory of the volost was transferred to the newly formed Mileninsky volost . It was abolished between 1877 and 1885 by dividing the territory between the Bolshezhirovskaya , Dmitrievskaya and Mileninsky volosts.
Composition of the volost
In 1877, the rural municipality included 23 rural societies, 23 communities, 18 settlements. The following is a list of the most significant settlements: [1]

Also, at different times, the volost included the following settlements: Verkhniy Khoteml , Goncharovka, Dmitrievka , Zhuravets , Kostina , Kofanovka , Kurashovka , Portina , Rebender , Reprinka , Rudka , Umsky Yards , Chaplygin , Shakhovo , Shmarnoye , Lyubazh-Kolodez ( Gurovka ) and others [2] .
