Biography

In 1863, he founded a vodka factory in the city of Alatyr. Developed shipping on the Sura . In 1874 he built the first large commercial steam mill in the region. The mill employed 62 workers.

Commercial and industrial partnership "Popov and K" 1910-1913 becomes the largest enterprise.

Trading House Popov conducted a very extensive trade in groceries and colonial goods, owned a sawmill.

Kirill Nikolaevich Popov died on November 8, 1893. He was buried in Alatyr.
