Lukashev, Mikhail Nikolaevich

Since the 1960s, he published articles and essays in newspapers and magazines, including “ Soviet Sport ”, “ Physical Education and Sport ”, “Dojo” ^[1] .

Honorary Member of the Executive Committee of the All-Russian Sambo Federation ^[2] .

He was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery in the Balashikha district of the Moscow region .

For the first time in the Soviet periodicals he published materials about the Shaolin monastery, about the traditions of hand-to-hand fighting of medieval Europe , about the sports fight against the "canons of judo" from the master Mifune ^[1] .

He wrote the history of sambo , as well as the biography of Viktor Afanasevich Spiridonov , in the study of which he unreasonably accused A. A. Kharlampiev of borrowing sports sambo from Spiridonov, and Vasily Sergeevich Oshchepkov - the founders of sambo ^[1] , Neil Nikolayevich Oznobishin - the creator from the previous sambo systems of hand-to-hand combat ^[3] .

Author of several books on the history of martial arts and martial arts, the total circulation of which exceeds 400 thousand copies. ^[4] The works of M. N. Lukashev are translated into English, French, German and other foreign languages ^[5] .
