“Russian National Music Award” ( abbr . RNMP ; English “Russian Music Awards” (RMA) ) is the annual music award of Russia , established by the “Support Fund for Russian Music” and leading figures in the Russian music industry [1] . It is awarded for the highest musical achievements annually in December following the results of the outgoing year.

Founders of the Fund and authors of the idea: poet, businessman Mikhail Gutseriev, composer, producer Igor Krutoy and media manager, writer Yuri Kostin. The president of the “Support Fund for Domestic Music” and “Russian National Music Award” is Yuri Kostin [2] .
Members of the Academy of Russian Music are leading representatives of the Russian music industry: Anna Netrebko , Denis Matsuev, Alla Pugacheva , Yuri Bashmet , Igor Krutoy, Mikhail Gutseriev, Yuri Kostin, Igor Matvienko , Maxim Fadeev , Konstantin Meladze , Valery Meladze , Victor Drobysh , Joseph Prigozhin , Yana Rudkovskaya , Nikolay Baskov , Philip Kirkorov , Kristina Orbakaite , Andrei Makarevich , Irina Krug and many others [3] . The organizers of the award said that the "update" will allow her to become the most honest and objective music award in Russia [4] [5] .
The nomination for the main music award of the country is carried out by representatives of the participants - record companies (labels), producers and production centers. Each representative has the right to nominate one nominee in each category [6] . Voting is carried out by members of the award jury - leading representatives of the Russian music industry [7] .
The winners are awarded a diploma and an exclusive gold statuette “Prima” (the author’s work of Alexei Sechenov and Antoine Simani), personifying a girl inspired by music.

RLMP Regulation
As of 2016.
The Russian national music award is carried out in several stages:
- Nomination of nominees and verification of applications.
- Electronic voting of the jury.
- Vote counting by an automated system with observation of the voting procedure by the premium auditor.
- Formation of fives of finalists and fixing winners by the auditor of the award.
- The award ceremony.
Nominees are nominated by representatives of participants or applicants - record companies (labels) and producers, production centers. Each representative has the right to nominate one nominee in each category. Applications are accepted through the award website, the correctness of filling out the questionnaires is controlled by the Council for the selection of submitted works. The selection board for submitted works also checks the nominees for compliance with the requirements of the competition [8] .
After nomination, the jury members vote for the applicants on the award website, choosing only one in each category. The vote counting is carried out automatically with observation of the voting procedure by the premium auditor. After the end of voting, the results are provided to the international audit company for vote counting.
After counting, information about the winners and finalists is classified by the auditor until they are made public. Sealed envelopes are kept by the auditor until the day of the award ceremony. During the ceremony, the president of the Academy of Russian Music Foundation hands over envelopes to the ceremony’s presenters for publicly announcing award winners directly on stage. Thus, the nominees become known directly on the stage, and even the organizers of the contest do not have access to this information.
2015
On December 10, 2015, a ceremony of presenting the first Russian national music award took place in the Crocus City Hall concert hall [9] .

On December 7, 2016, a ceremony was held at the State Kremlin Palace to present the restarted first Russian national music award.
The hosts of the ceremony are Igor Vernik and Olga Shelest .
The headliner of the award is Christina Aguilera [11] .

The fourth award ceremony was held on December 7, 2018 at the State Kremlin Palace . A television version was shown on the same day on the Russia-1 television channel. Since 2018, the award has become known as the “Russian National Music Award“ Victoria ”.
