Biography

Born in 1970. In 1990, he became the champion of the Asian Games and the owner of the World Cup in doubles, and also won the silver and bronze medals of the Asian Championship. In 1991, he became the bronze medalist of the World Cup (where the national teams of the DPRK and South Korea performed as part of the united single Korean team). In 1992, he won the World Cup again and won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Barcelona . In 1993, he again became the bronze medalist of the World Cup, in 1995 he repeated this result. In 1999, he again won the bronze medal of the World Cup. In 2000, he became the silver medalist of the Asian Championship, but did not win medals at the Sydney Olympic Games . In 2001, 2003 and 2004, he again won the bronze medals of the World Cup. In 2002, he won two silver medals of the Asian Games.
