Kim Taek-soo ( cor. 김택수 ? , 金 擇 洙? , P. 25 May 1970) - South Korean table tennis player, champion of Asia and Asian Games, winner of world championships and the Olympic Games.

Biography
Born in 1970. In 1990, he became the champion of the Asian Games and the owner of the World Cup in doubles, and also won the silver and bronze medals of the Asian Championship. In 1991, he became the bronze medalist of the World Cup (where the national teams of the DPRK and South Korea performed as part of the united single Korean team). In 1992, he won the World Cup again and won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Barcelona . In 1993, he again became the bronze medalist of the World Cup, in 1995 he repeated this result. In 1994, he won the silver and bronze medals of the Asian Games. In 1996 he became the champion of Asia, but at the Olympic Games in Atlanta he took only 5th place. In 1997, he again became the bronze medalist of the World Cup. In 1998, he won the silver and bronze medals of the Asian Championship, and also became the champion of the Asian Games. In 1999, he again won the bronze medal of the World Cup. In 2000, he became the silver medalist of the Asian Championship, but did not win medals at the Sydney Olympic Games . In 2001, 2003 and 2004, he again won the bronze medals of the World Cup. In 2002, he won two silver medals of the Asian Games.
