Biography

He was born on July 30, 1910 in a working-class family in the village of Khrenovoe, Bobrovsky district (today - Bobrovsky district, Voronezh region), Voronezh province. In 1927 he began his career as a groom at the Khrenovsky horse farm. In 1934, he graduated from the Khrenovsky technical school of horse breeding, specializing in livestock, after which he worked as a livestock breeding animal husbandry at the Khrenovsky horse farm. Since 1941, he participated in the Great Patriotic War as part of the 241st rifle division. In 1942 he joined the VKP (b). In 1944 he graduated from the Cherkassy Pyrotechnic School, after which he continued his military service as a company commander of the 883rd Infantry Regiment of the 199th Infantry Division. He graduated from the war as an assistant chief of staff. After demobilization in 1946 he returned to Khrenovoe, where he continued to work as a livestock specialist at the Khrenovsky horse factory number 10.

In 1948 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for high labor rates in horse breeding.

In 1955 he was appointed to the position of managing department of the Khrenovsky stud farm. He worked in this position for 15 years until retirement (1970).

He died March 10, 1988.
