Club career
Kepa was born in Marbella , province of Malaga. Brought up at the Academy of Seville , he played two games in the Example in the main team in the 2004-05 season and established himself as a valuable player in the next two years, but mainly a replacement player.
In the 2006-07 season, even after he scored three years against Levante in the league opening match [2] [1] and three more goals in the victory campaign in the UEFA Cup [3] [4] [5] , he fell in disgrace from the coach and on January 22, 2007 agreed to go on loan to West Ham United English until the end of the season, with the possibility of subsequent redemption [6] . Eight days later, he scored in the 77th minute, having spent just 70 seconds on the field by then, at the goal of Liverpool [7] .
In July 2007, Kepa wrote a four-year contract with Getafe , with Sevilla retaining the right of priority redemption of the player in the next season [8] . During his first season, the player regularly entered the field in UEFA Cup matches, and also scored in a 2-0 victory game with Murcia after leaving the bench on October 21 , but was removed from the field for a tackle in the same match [9] . Since that time, he rarely went on the field, even in matches of the Spanish Cup.
On August 5, 2010, Kepa was sold in Recreativo , and Adrian Kolunga set off in the opposite direction at Getafe [10] . He appeared on the field in only 19 games out of 42 in the first season at the club, having been released after the expiration of the contract in April 2012 , without having played a single match in the last season [11] .
Kepa moved to the club of the third division of Guadalajara and in 2014 , after one season in which he also rarely went on the field, and his team flew out [12] , and another year without a club, the 30-year-old Kepa decided to end his career.
Coaching career
In 2014, Kepa was appointed assistant coach of the San Pedro amateur club [13] .
