Radio Reloj ( Spanish: Radio Reloj , literally. Radio Clock) is a Cuban news radio station . It began broadcasting on July 1, 1947 from the roof of a building in Havana , which previously housed the offices of Radio Circuito CMQ [1] [2] .

Radio Reloch radio station is unique in its own way: its distinctive features are the constant ticking of the second hands, the announcement by the announcer of the time every minute and the constant background of the second hands around the clock, 24 hours a day, reading news on the air [1] [3] [4 ] ] [5] [6] [7] [8] .
It was one of the first round-the-clock radio stations in Latin America .
This is a nationwide radio station that is part of the Cuban Radio System, which is managed by the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television government agency [9] [10] .
Programs
The radio station does not transmit any music, there are no recordings on the air either. All that you hear when you tune in to it is the ticking (ticking) of the clock and the speaker’s voice against its background. The time at the radio station is standard Cuban, from the National Cuban Observatory [1] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] .
