Of the workers. Member of the RSDLP since 1903. Member of the Central Committee of the RSDLP . He was arrested in 1903, 1904, 1905. He was serving a sentence in the Shlisselburg fortress , was on penal servitude. Editor of the newspaper "Soldier's Voice." He was arrested 2 times in 1918 in Yaroslavl , released. Arrested in 1919 in Voronezh . On June 17, 1920, he was imprisoned in the Butyrka prison in Moscow. At the end of 1921 he lived in the Moscow province, worked as a printer.
