Club career

Boyce began his career at Cliftonville Club. In his debut season, he scored 19 goals in all competitions and became the team's top scorer [1] . In 2010, Scottish “ Celtic ” and German “ Greuther ” [2] showed an active interest in Liam, but as a result he moved to the Bremen “ Werder Bremen ”, where he briefly played for the backup squad [3] . In early 2012, Boyce returned to Cliftonville [4] . In the very first season after his return, he helped the club win the championship and the League Cup , and he himself became the top scorer of the championship [5] . The following season, Boyce almost completely repeated the achievement by winning the championship and the Cup, but became the third in the list of scorers.

In the summer of 2014, Liam ended the contract and, as a free agent, he moved to Ross County [6] . On August 10, in his match against St. Johnston , he made his debut in the Scottish Premier League. [7] On August 16, Boyce scored his debut goal for Ross County in a duel against Kilmarnock . [8] On April 13, 2015, in a match against St. Mirren , he made a hat-trick [9] . In the 2016/2017 season, Liam became the team's top scorer.

In the summer of 2017, Boyce moved to the English “ Burton Albion ”, signing a contract for three years [10] . A few weeks later, Liam received a serious knee injury [11] .

International Career

On February 9, 2011, in the Four Nations Cup match against Scotland, Boyce made his debut for the Northern Ireland team. [12] On June 2, 2017, in a friendly match against the New Zealand national team, Liam scored his first goal for the national team. [13]
