Qualification for the second division of the 2016 World Ice Hockey Championship (women)

The qualification of the 2016 Women's Ice Hockey World Championship in the 2nd Division is the IIHF IIHF ice hockey sport competition held from December 7 to 10, 2015 in Sofia , Bulgaria . The winner of the tournament received the right to play in group B of the second division of the 2017 World Cup .

The tournament was attended by 4 national teams - two from Europe , one from Asia and Africa . The Romanian team took their first participation after 2011, the rest participated in the qualification of last year .
