The qualification of the 2016 Women's Ice Hockey World Championship in the 2nd Division is the IIHF IIHF ice hockey sport competition held from December 7 to 10, 2015 in Sofia , Bulgaria . The winner of the tournament received the right to play in group B of the second division of the 2017 World Cup .
