Xu Ming ( Chinese trade. 徐明 ; April 1971 - December 4, 2015 ) [1] - Chinese entrepreneur and billionaire, founder of the Dalian Shide Group conglomerate and chairman of the Dalian Shide Football Club. In 2005, Forbes magazine ranked him eighth on the list of richest people in China.

Xu had close relations with a number of senior government officials and their families, as well as very good relations with politician Bo Xilai . After Bo was involved in a political scandal, on which he admitted that Xu was with him, after which the latter was taken into custody. He testified at the trial of Bo in August 2013. [2] He was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, the term was counted from 2012.
Xu died in prison on December 4, 2015, at the age of 44. [3] [4]
