Boris Vladimirovich Svetlov (born February 28, 1958, Minsk , Minsk Region , Belorussian SSR , USSR ) is a Belarusian statesman. Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2012-2017).

Biography
From 1980 to 1989 - senior laboratory assistant, then junior research fellow at the Institute of Art History, Ethnography and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR . From 1989 to 1990 he was a member of the editorial board of the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture of the BSSR.
From 1990 to 1991, assistant to the Minister of Culture of the BSSR. From 1991 to 1994, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
From May 1994 to December 1994 - Head of the Department of Cinema and Video Art of the Ministry of Culture and Press of the Republic of Belarus.
From January 1995 to 1995 - Deputy Director of the financial and investment company "Finance and Assets".
From 1995 to 1998 - Deputy Director, then Director of the Belarusian Culture Support Fund.
From 1998 to 2003 - Head of the Department of Cinema and Video Production, Head of the Department of Information Organization, Deputy Director of the State Institution “National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus”.
