Agata Bronislava Buzek ( Polish. Agata Bronisława Buzek ; born September 20, 1976, Pyskowice ) is a Polish theater, film and television actress, a former fashion model. Laureate of the Polish national film award " Eagles " for best actress in the film "Reverse" (2010). Daughter of former Polish Prime Minister and European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek .

Biography
Born in the family of Jerzy and Ludgard Buzek . She studied at the ballet school in Gliwice , studied in the drama circle of Dorota Pomykaly in Katowice , in 1999 she graduated from the Alexander Zelverovich Theater Academy in Warsaw . By this time, Buzek already had several acting works on her account, in 1997 she made her on-screen debut in the television play “Pearl”, and a year later the first film with her participation was released - Robert Glinsky 's romantic comedy “Love and Do What You Want” [1 ] . Buzek's role as Princess Pavelta in the 2001 mini-series The Witcher has been praised by critics. In 2002, she was nominated for the national film award "Eagles" for the best supporting role in the historical drama "Revenge" [2] . Although the picture brought the actress fame and made her popular, Buzek chose to move to Paris and become a fashion model [1] .
Buzek returned to the cinema in 2006, playing the title role in the German drama “Valeria” about a photo model that turned out to be unclaimed [3] . A real creative breakthrough for Agatha Buzek was the main role in the melodramatic thriller of 2009, “Reverse”, for which she was awarded the Eagles prize as the best actress, and also received the audience award named after Zbignev Tsibulsky . At the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, Buzek was awarded the Shooting Stars Award as one of the rising stars of European cinema [2] .
In addition to his acting career, Buzek is engaged in social activities. In 2004, she was a foreign observer in the presidential election in Ukraine . Buzek supported the movement for the democratization of Belarus , participated in a campaign to raise funds for the construction of wells in Sudan , and is also a member of the animal protection organization Viva [2] .
