Geography
The city is located in the valley of the drying river ( wadi ) of El-Batin , part of Rumma , which is east of the administrative border with the district of Al-Khudood al-Shamaliya (Northern border) at the intersection of national highways 50 (connects with Kuwait ) and 85 (connects with Northern border). Civil Airport is located nearby ( IATA : AQI , ICAO : OEPA ), and 70 km southwest of King Khalid Military City Airport ( IATA : KMC , ICAO : OEKK ). Al Qaisuma Airport connects the city by air with Riyadh and Jeddah .
