Career
He made his debut in Formula 1 in 2002 in the Minardi team, replacing Alex Jong in the Hungarian and Belgian Grand Prix. In both Grand Prix did not get to the finish line because of the turn.
He had a great experience as a test pilot in the BAR Honda team (since 2006 - Honda ), for which in 2005 he participated in the Malaysian Grand Prix .
In 2007 - 2008 he was a pilot of the Super Aguri team , while continuing to be a test pilot for Honda. In 2009-2013, he was the test-pilot of the Honda successor teams: Brawn GP ( 2009 ) and Mercedes GP ( 2010 - 2013 ). Over the entire career in Formula 1 points scored.
Since 2012, he has been participating in the World Endurance Motor Racing Championship with the Toyota Racing team .
In the 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix, Davidson participated as a commentator on the British television channel ITV , replacing Martin Brandl . [2]
In 2010 he won the ALMS Series β 12 Hours of Sebring β race, speaking on a Peugeot 908 car with Marc Gene and Alexander Wurz .
In 2012, during the 24-hour race, Le Mans had a terrible accident. As a result of a collision with a slower car, Anthony, Sebastian Buemi and Stefan Sarrazanβs car flew off and hit a wall of tires. Anthony received a compression fracture of the spine.
