Biography
On August 31, 1775, he volunteered for the Brieux regiment, on May 11, 1777, became a grenadier, on January 31, 1783, Corporal Grenadier, on March 13, 1787, a sergeant, on January 1, 1790, a sergeant-fourier, on August 18, 1791, a senior sergeant, on January 12. 1792 - junior lieutenant, June 16, 1792 - lieutenant. October 18, 1792 - senior adjutant of the 2nd Linear Semi-Brigade, November 21, 1793 - captain, was wounded on November 30 by a bullet in his left leg in a battle near Neresheim during the release of lines near Wissemburg. On August 5, 1794, the interim commander of the 1st battalion of the 24th linear brigade, September 8, played an important role in defeating the enemy in one of the battles and captured a gun. On June 21, 1795, his battalion joined the 47th battle half-brigade, on July 17, 1795 he was promoted to colonel and headed this half-brigade, and on November 14, 1795 he was shot in shot in the throat near Francaudal.
