Club career

Johnson as part of the San Jose Earthquakes

Johnson began his career playing for the football team at the University of Oregon in the United States . During his studies, he also briefly played for the Cape Cod Crusaders and the Colorado Rapids youth team.

At the MLS 2006 superdraft , Ryan was selected in the third round under the overall 26th number by the Real Salt Lake Club [1] . He played only seven matches for the team, in which he spent 154 minutes on the field, after which in July he was traded to “ Chicago Fire ” for Jack Stewart [2] , but there Johnson played even less - 46 minutes in three matches, and on March 3 In 2007, he was placed on the failure list [3] .

In March 2016, Johnson signed a contract with a newcomer club to the North American Football League , Rayo Oks . [15] [16] . May 26, "Rayo OKS" expelled Johnson [17] .

International Career

On April 12, 2006, in a friendly match against the US national team, Johnson made his debut for the Jamaican national team [18] .
