Geography
Located on the picturesque high right bank of the Zusha River , 6 km from the district center of Novosil , 2 km from the village (former parish) of Yamskaya Sloboda .
History
A written record of the village of Zadushnaya is available in the Patrol Book of Novosilsky District for 1614-1615. [2] The settlement could get its name from the name of the original owner Zadugin or from the male Holy Spirit Monastery located here.
