Sultan Maruzbegovich Magomedov (born , ) is a Russian judoka , prize - winner of the Russian championship , prize-winner of the open championship of Finland , prize-winner of the World Cup, international master of sports of Russia .

Biography
In childhood he was engaged in freestyle wrestling. After serving in the army, under the influence of older brothers, he became interested in judo. His first coach in this field was Gazimamed Akhmedov . Four years later, Magomedov won the Russian Championship. For further sports growth, sparring partners were needed and Magomedov moved Perm , where he began to train in the Dynamo society . In the same place, in Perm, he received a higher legal education.
He performs a lot and successfully at prestigious veteran competitions. In 2005, he took third place in the Super Bowl of the world. In 2006, he won the World Cup in France, and took third place at the European Championship. In 2007 he became the silver medalist of the European Championship.
