Gogunskaya, Inna Vladimirovna

Born in the town of Veseloe, Zaporizhzhya region. After graduating with honors from the Faculty of Medicine of the Zaporizhzhya Medical Institute, she worked as an allergist at the polyclinic of the city hospital No. 1 in Melitopol. In SI "Institute of Otolaryngology named after prof. A. I. Kolomiychenko of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine ”has been working since 2004. In 2002 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic "The effectiveness of inhaled corticosteroids in the treatment of exacerbations of bronchial asthma"; in 2011 - a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic "Specific immunotherapy of patients with allergic rhinitis with polyvalent sensitization to household and pollen allergens." In 2012, Gogunskaya I.V. was awarded the academic title of senior researcher.

Gogunskaya I.V. is a well-known scientist, a highly qualified allergist who has a wide arsenal of methods for treating allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract. The main areas of scientific activity of a practical scientist are associated with the problems of allergology, immunology, and otorhinolaryngology.

As a result of scientific research, I.V. Gogunskoy developed highly effective and safe methods of specific immunotherapy for patients with allergic rhinitis with polyvalent sensitization to household and pollen allergens depending on the state of the immune system, as well as indications for their use.

I.V. Gogunskaya conducted large-scale retrospective and prospective studies to study the effectiveness of the proposed methods of treatment of patients with allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

The use of the developed schemes for the oral administration of allergens made it possible to treat patients in remote regions under remote episodic control of a doctor.

At the initiative and with the direct participation of I.V. Gogunskaya, numerous technologies were introduced for detecting and treating allergens with perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, insect allergy among allergists, otolaryngologists, general practitioners, dentists (methods for screening allergic diseases, diagnosing drug allergies), which significantly improved the early detection of allergic diseases, thereby creating the possibility for specific immunotherapy with allergens .

I.V. Gogunskaya is directly involved in the creation of regulatory documentation on the use of allergens, in the development and implementation of protocols for the provision of medical care to patients with allergic rhinitis, anaphylactic shock, insect allergy, urticaria and Quincke's edema, drug allergy, and hay fever. I.V. Gogunskaya personally trained personnel allergists, otolaryngologists, general practitioners, dentists on these issues.

All these achievements are reflected in numerous works, in reports at all-Ukrainian and international conferences and seminars.

Engaged in experimental and clinical research in the field of allergology for more than 10 years, I.V. Gogunskaya has created a number of models of allergic reactions with the study and testing of various natural and synthetic drugs on them that suppress allergic reactions of an immediate and delayed type. One of the main tasks over the years was the clinical testing of domestic allergens, the development of technology for their use, the training of allergists and ENT specialists in Ukraine on the use of allergens, the dissemination of best practices, the holding of domestic and international scientific forums covering the issues of introducing domestic allergens. I.V. Gogunskaya was included in the group of scientists who for the first time experimentally proved the effectiveness of parenteral and oral allergen-specific immunotherapy. For this work in 2012 I.V. Gogunskaya with a team of authors was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology.

She completed an internship in clinics in Austria, Germany, the USA, etc.

He conducts active educational activities in the media.

I.V. Gogunskaya successfully combines public work with scientific, scientific and organizational activities. She is vice president of the Association of Allergologists of Ukraine, a member of the European Respiratory Society, the European Association of Asthma and Allergy.
