The Solovetsky Islands Magazine is the official publication of the management of the Solovetsky Special Purpose Camps , which has been published since 1924 (until 1925 the magazine was called SLON).
History
The first edition ( March 1924. ) was released in the amount of 17 copies. The second issue was published in a run of 50 copies.
In the month of July 1926, the 7th issue of the monthly magazine was published in a circulation of 900 copies. Editor - F.I. Eichmans . The authors of the articles in this issue were: Nikolay Vinogradov, Boris Glubokovsky , B. Evreinov, Boris Emelyanov, Zorin, V. Krivosh-Nemanich , N. Litvin, V. I. Massalsky, D.N. Matveev, Sofia Ockerman, Agronomist Podschuweit, B. Rado, A. K. Roemer - Workers, Sidorov, V. Smirnov, Zvibelfish , A. I., M. N. [1]
In 1927-29 the magazine did not appear (it was merged with the magazine "Karelian-Murmansk Territory") [2] .
Since 1929, the publication of the Solovetsky Islands was resumed. Number "5" in 1930 was the last.
The journal published many prisoners - poets, for example, V. Kemetsky . The magazine "Solovetsky Islands" was sold throughout the Soviet Union and even abroad. [3]
Also on the Solovki newspaper "New Solovki" was published. [four]
