Goldbach-Altenbach ( fr. Goldbach-Altenbach ) is a commune in northeastern France in the region of Grand Est ^[1] (formerly Alsace-Champagne-Ardennes-Lorraine ), Haut-Rhein department , Tang-Gebwiller district , canton Cerne ^[2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Saint-Amarin of Tang district.

The area of the commune is 9.14 km², the population is 299 people ^[3] ^[4] (2006) with a tendency towards stabilization: 280 people ^[5] (2012), the population density is 30.6 persons / km².

Economy

In 2010, out of 192 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 147 were economically active , 45 were inactive (an activity indicator of 76.6%, in 1999 - 68.3%). Of the 147 active able-bodied residents, 143 people (88 men and 55 women) worked, 4 were unemployed (1 man and 3 women). Among 45 able-bodied inactive citizens, 10 were students or students , 17 were retired , and another 18 were inactive for other reasons ^[8] ^[9] .

During 2011, there were 122 taxable households in the commune , in which 275 people lived. At the same time, the median of income was 19,649 euros per taxpayer ^[10] .
