Description

Small and medium-sized hymenoptera insects (5-10 mm). An occipital cushion is developed behind the eyes. The subapical lateral protrusions of the propodeum are not distinct. The first tergite is separated from the sternite by a seam. Front wing with a mirror. Larvae parasitize in the egg cocoons of spiders [1] [2] . The genus was first isolated in 1869 by the German entomologist Arnold Förster [3] .
