Club career
De la Cruz is a graduate of the club of the capital club Liverpool . On September 13, 2015, in his match against El Tanke Sisley , he made his debut in Uruguayan Example [1] . On May 15, Nicolas scored his first goal for Liverpool in a duel against Rentistas . [2]
On August 15, 2017, De la Cruz moved to the Argentine River Plate . In the match against Banfield , he made his debut in the Argentinean Example .
International Career
In 2017, De la Cruz as part of the Uruguayan youth team won the South American Youth Championship in Ecuador . In the tournament he played in matches against the teams of Peru [3] , Bolivia [4] , Colombia [5] , Brazil [6] , Ecuador [7] and also twice Venezuela [8] [9] and Argentina [10] [11] . In fights against the Argentines and Colombians, Nicholas scored three goals.
In the same year, de la Cruz took part in the youth world championship in South Korea . At the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Japan [12] , South Africa [13] , Saudi Arabia [14] , Portugal [15] , Venezuela [16] and twice Italy [17] [18] . In fights against Arabs and Venezuelans, Nicholas scored a goal.
Carlos Sanchez (born 1987), stepbrother (maternal) of Nicholas De la Cruz, is the best footballer of 2015 in South America (at that time he played for River Plate), since 2014 he has been playing for the Argentina national team [19] .
