Biography
By nationality, Ukrainian ("Little Russia"). A peasant in the Ostrog county of Volyn province. Graduate of the public school. He was a tax collector. At the time of the election to the Duma, he was not a party member. Engaged in agriculture.
On April 15, 1906 he was elected to the State Duma of the Russian Empire of the first convocation from the general electors of the Volyn provincial assembly. The political position in the Duma is defined as "non-partisan right" [1] , which is confirmed by the Trudoviks in their publication, "The Works of the First State Duma," they characterize Furman's political position as "B. etc. ”, which means that non-partisan Furman settled in Erogin’s state-owned apartment, hired by state money for poor deputies, especially for their processing in a pro-government spirit, and remained there until the end of the Duma’s work [2] .
