Garvolin district is an administrative unit within the Sedletskaya province of the Russian Empire , which existed from 1867 to 1919 . The administrative center is the city of Garwolin .

History
The district was formed in 1867 as part of the Sedletskaya province of the Russian Empire . In 1919, it was transformed into the Garvolin District of the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland .
Population
According to the census of 1897, the county population was 120,736 people, including 5341 people living in the town of Garwolin , 7140 people living in Zhelehov [1] .
