Survivor Series (2015)

In the Hell in a Cell match , Seth Rollins defeated Kane by defending his world heavyweight title. ^[5] The next night at Raw , the eight superstars who won the Hell in a Cell match competed in single matches and the winners faced each other in a four-way match. The winner becomes the first contender for the world heavyweight title at the Survivor Series. Roman Raines ^{[6] [7]} won the match. However, on November 4, Rollins suffered multiple knee injuries during a tournament in Dublin , Ireland , so the match was canceled and the title became vacant ^[8] . The tournament began on November 9 on the episode Raw . Sixteen superstars participated in it. The choice of a new champion was planned for the final match of the Survivor Series. Since Roman Raines became a contender for the title, Triple H persuaded him to join the leadership. Thus, Raines would automatically be placed in a championship match. But he refused, demanding a fight in the tournament ^[9] . On a November 19 episode of Raw, Raines , Dean Ambrose , Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio reached the semifinals by defeating Dolph Ziggler , Neville Adrian and Calisto, putting Raines against Del Rio and Ambrose against Owens in the semifinals.

On November 2, in an episode of Raw , Page defeated Becky Lynch , Bree Bella and Sasha Banks in a four-way match. Then she became the Diva Champion in the match against Charlotte ^[7] .

In the Hell in a Cell match, Wyatt attacked the Undertaker after he lost the match to Brock Lesnar and carried him out of the arena. The next night on Raw , Kane encounters the Wyatt, but was also attacked and taken out of the arena. In a November 9 episode of Raw , Undertaker and Kane returned as the Brothers of Destriction and attacked the Wyatt. In a November 12 episode of SmackDown , Bray Wyatt challenged the “Brothers of Destruction” in the Team Championship match on the Survivor Series, against two of his chosen Wyatt family members who they would approve of ^[10] .

On November 17th, it was announced on WWE.com that the event would be a traditional five-for-five match.

In the October 22 episode of SmackDown , Tyler Breeze made his WWE debut and attacked Dolph Ziggler. In a SmackDown episode of October 29, after Ziggler defeated Miz , Ziggler was attacked by Breeze. On the November 2 episode of Raw , Breeze distracts Ziggler during his match with Kevin Owens, allowing Owens to win. On a November 19 episode of SmackDown , after Breeze defeated Zach Ryder, Ziggler attacked him. Later on the show, it was announced that Ziggler would face Tyler Breeze at the event ^[11] .
