• 1970-1979 Deputy Minister of Geology CCCP.
• 1979–1985 Director of the Far Eastern Geological Institute (Far Eastern Geological Institute)
• March 15, 1979 he was elected a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
• Since 1986 - Head of the Department at the Leningrad Mining Institute.
• 1987–1998 - Director of VSEGEI (Leningrad).
