Union of African Railways (UAR) - a union founded in 1972 , headquartered in Kinshasa ( DR Congo ) [1] .
The organization’s goals are standardization of technical means, coordination of the transportation process, establishing transport links, determining development prospects, solving the problems of gauge unification [1] .
The source of funding for the organization is membership fees. The official languages are English , French and Portuguese .
