Biography
He was born on April 23, 1903 in the family of the writer and teacher Zakhari Gulisashvili.
In 1926 he graduated from the Forestry Department, and in 1930 - from the Department of Chemical Technology of Wood of the Leningrad Forestry Academy .
From 1931 to 1979, he served as professor at the Georgian Agricultural Institute and Tbilisi University, as well as director of the Forest Institute of the Georgian SSR Academy of Sciences (from 1945 to the end of his life).
He lived in Tbilisi, st. Beijing, 2.
He died on October 19, 1979 in Tbilisi.
In 1980, the Institute of Forest was named after him.
