Sosnovskoye is a village in the southern part of the Sverdlovsk region , in the Kamensk city district . It is the center of the Sosnovsk rural administration.

Geography
85 km from Yekaterinburg . 35 km from Kamensk-Uralsky. Located on the western shore of the lake of the same name - Sosnovsky . Refers to the Iset river basin. The pond is not flowing. The shores are swampy in places, the western shore is higher. The lake feeds mainly on the waters of local surface and underground drains, as well as due to precipitation. There is a rotan in the lake.
History
The first name is the village of Sosnovka. It arose around 1750, when the residents of the Kamyshevskaya Sloboda Solomein, Chernyshev and their comrades built 5 houses here. [2] . Before the construction of the church in 1861, it belonged to the Mama church parish.
Since 1781, it belonged to Mama's volost , Yekaterinburg county , Perm province . In the years 1919−1923 as part of the Yekaterinburg province . Since 1926, as part of the Sosnovsky village council of the Shadrinsky district of the Ural region .

- According to the data of 1904, there are 223 yards with a population of 1,200 people (men - 609, women - 591), all Russians [8] .
- According to the 2002 census, the national composition is as follows: Russians - 94% [9] . According to the 2010 census, the village had: men - 480, women - 607 [10] .
Infrastructure
In the village there is a school ("Sosnovskaya secondary school"), a library, an art school ("Sosnovskaya children's art school" was opened on September 11, 1980 by the decision of the executive committee of the Kamensky district council of people's deputies as Sosnovskaya evening school of general music education with a 5-year term of study. In 1991 By the decision of the Kamensky District Council of People's Deputies No. 426 of 09/05/1991, the school was transferred to the state budget and transformed into the Sosnovka Children's Art School, including the Mama’s branch [11] ).
There is a grocery store. It has electricity. Connected to a central gas supply. Internet is not connected. There is access to cellular communications.

Twice a day, a suburban bus runs along the route No. 102 ( Kamensk-Uralsky - Sosnovskoye) to the village.
Attractions
- Church of the Nativity
In 1861, the Church of the Nativity of Christ was founded, wooden, 1-altar. The first wooden temple was built from 1861 to 1864. The church was consecrated in honor of the Nativity of Christ in 1864. It burned down in 1866. The stone church building was built at the beginning of the 20th century, approximately in 1915-1916. Closed in 1939. [13] [14] Recovery and services began after 2004. The church building is an original and rare monument of church architecture of the late stage of the "Byzantine style" for the Urals.
Panov Mikhail Stepanovich (1861 - November 20, 1937), the first priest of the church. In 1937 he was sentenced to death.
Rev. John Kevroletin (May 23, 1875 - 1961) from 1935 to 1937 was rector of the Church of the Nativity of Christ. In 1992, his remains were transferred to the altar of the Transfiguration Church of the Verkhotursky Nicholas Monastery. In 2001, Hieroschimonk John Kevroletin was ranked among the host of new martyrs and confessors of Russia, glorified by the Council of Bishops in 2000.
- Monument
A memorial was built for the soldiers of the Second World War.
