Biography
Born in 1867. In 1892 he graduated from Imperial Moscow University and remained to work there in the laboratory. During his studies, he founded his own laboratory in Mytishchi. He worked in IMU and Mytishchi until 1905.
Since 1905, departed from scientific activity.
He died around 1920.
Scientific Works
The main scientific research is devoted to the physiology of the cell and its nucleus.
He discovered the effect of increased nuclear mass on cell activity and established a relationship between the mass of protoplasm, chromotophores and the nucleus.
The first cytologist who managed to experimentally obtain polyploid forms (in algae).
