Bishheim ( French Biesheim [bisaɪm] ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Colmar - Riboville district , canton Ensysheim [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the canton of Nöf-Brisac of Colmar County.

Economics
In 2010, out of 1609 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 1215 were economically active , 394 inactive (activity indicator 75.5%, in 1999 - 72.6%). Out of 1215 active able-bodied residents, 1091 people worked (573 men and 518 women), 124 were unemployed (66 men and 58 women). Among 394 able-bodied inactive citizens, 105 were pupils or students , 160 were pensioners , and another 129 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
Throughout 2011, there were 1,007 taxable households in the commune , in which 2,436.5 people lived. Moreover, the median income was 21048 euros per taxpayer [10] .
