Geography
Ulus is located on the left bank of the Kizhinga River, 5.5 km south-west of the central part of the village of Kizhing , on the republican road 03K-010 of Ulan-Ude - Zaigraevo - Kizhing.
History
The settlement was created in the early 1930s, then the Komsomol collective farm was based in it (chairman Shagdarzhap Tsybanov, who later became people's commissar of justice of the republic) [2] .
