Professional career
David made his debut in the professional ring in 2009.
November 7, 2015 won the battle, defeating Venezuelan boxer Charlie Navarro by technical knockout in the ninth round and won the title of interim world champion in the WBA welterweight title [1] .
On November 7, 2016, the World Boxing Association (WBA) declared David Avanesyan the owner of the WBA Regular welterweight world champion belt (before that he owned the title of interim WBA world champion). The holder of this belt until this moment was Keith Thurman , who is now the owner of the WBA Super world champion belt [2] .
