Napolioni, Antonio

Antonio Napolioni (born December 11, 1957 ) is the bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Cremona. He was appointed to this position on November 16, 2015 [1] , replacing Dante Lafranconi .

Biography

He studied law at the University of Camerino for two years, then entered Fano Theological Seminary.

Antonio Napolioni was born in the village of Camerino [2] in 1957. He studied law at the University of Camerino for two years, then entered a seminary in the city of Fano .

June 25, 1983 he was ordained a priest. Since 2005, Napolioni served as chaplain of His Holiness Pope John Paul II. Since 2010, he has been pastor of the old Cathedral of San Severino.

On November 16, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Cremona . He was ordained on January 30, 2016 [3] [4] [5] .
