Geography
It is located 22 km south-west of the center of the rural settlement, Edermeg ulus, on the left bank of the Birka River (the left tributary of Kizhinga ), 3 km north of the place where it flows into Kizhinga. On the northeastern edge of the ulus lies the small salty lake Khuzhartai. In the vicinity of the ulus is the Manai-Azhil brown coal deposit.
