Geography
It is located 76 km east of the regional center, the village of Kizhinga , 9 km southeast of the center of the rural settlement, Zagustay ulus, on both banks of the Kodun River, 2-3 km above the confluence of the Hurtei River.
The final destination of the roads of local importance is Kizhinga - Chesan - Hurtei and Kizhinga - Sulkhara - Hurtei. 2 km southwest of the village, up the Hurtay River, a local highway begins through the Tsagan-Khurtey ridge to the Trans-Baikal Territory, to the Transsib Kharagun railway station.
