Biography

He graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography , the Department of Cinematography (1958), then began working at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. He traveled half the globe, experienced many dangerous and amazing adventures, during a trip to Cuba he personally met Che Guevara and Fidel Castro [1] .

“Igor Persian films are not a festival mainstream. These are very complex, problematic and analytical pictures that sometimes touch upon the most controversial moments of our life and history. One of them is the Persian debut film “Severe Memory” ( Sverdlovsk Film Studio , 1963). The film is dedicated to prisoners of war of German concentration camps. This painting has received awards at many festivals, including the Grand Prix of the International Film Festival in Leipzig . "

Member of the Sverdlovsk Regional Organization of the Union of Filmmakers of Russia .

Currently lives and works in Yekaterinburg.
