History
Located on the site of the modern village of Golubkovo, Petrovsky churchyard near Lake Cheremenets of the Novgorod district is mentioned in the scribe books of the Shelonsky Pyatina of 1501 [2] .
At the beginning of the XVIII century, the estate of Golubkovo was granted by Peter I to his teacher and colleague - Nikita Moiseevich Zotov .
In the middle of the XVIII century, the estate of Golubkovo passed into the ownership of Pyotr Vasilyevich Bakunin (smaller) [3] .
At the beginning of the 19th century, the estate of Golubkovo became the property of the landowner D. G. Elagin [3] .
The village of Golubkov is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [4] .
GOLUBKOVA - the manor belongs to the college adviser Bazanina, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 10 m., 9 w. P.
When there was a windmill about two sets of mill [5] (1838)

According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, on the site of the modern village of Golubkovo there was the eponymous manor , Petrovsky churchyard and a windmill [7] .
According to the statistics on the national economy of the Luga district of 1891, the estate Golubkovo with an area of 356 acres belonged to the wife of lieutenant E.P. Spitsyna, the estate was acquired until 1868 [8] .
In the 19th century, the manor administratively belonged to the 2nd camp of the Luga district of St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the 20th century - to the Yugostitsky volost of the 5th zemsky section of the 4th camp.
According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905, 945 acres of land in the estate of Golubkovo belonged to the guard Colonel Nikolai Borisovich Glinka-Mavrin [9] .
The village of Golubkovo is taken into account by the regional administrative data as part of the Butkovsky village council of the Luga region from August 1, 1927.
In 1940, the population of the village of Golubkovo was 126 people.
From August 1, 1941 to January 31, 1944, the village was under occupation.
In 1961, the population of the village of Golubkovo was 205 people [10] .
According to 1966, the village of Golubkovo was also part of the Butkovsky village council [11] .
According to 1973, the village of Golubkovo was the administrative center of the Skreblovsky village council [12] .
According to 1990, the village of Golubkovo was part of the Skreblovsky village council, the administrative center of the village council was the village of Skreblovo [13] .
In 1997, 76 people lived in the village of Golubkovo in the Skreblovsky volost, in 2002 - 57 people (Russians - 88%) [14] [15] .
In 2007, 40 people lived in the village of Golubkovo of the Skreblovsk Joint Venture [16] .

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the highway 41K-144 (highway "Pskov" - Nevezhitsa ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 8 km [16] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Luga I is 26 km [11] .
The village is located on the southern shore of Lake Cheremenets .
