Career
Until Murderdolls and Wednesday 13, Slade played bass and later guitar in the Dope group, replacing former guitarist Tripp Aisen , who also played in the Murderdolls. After Eisen left Dope, Slade moved to the guitar to record Life album. He later left Dope and joined the Murderdolls, again, replacing Eisen as a guitarist (in the meantime, Eisen himself went to Static-X ). Before joining the Murderdolls (along with his work at Dope), Slade was also the frontman of the band, known as the Vampire Love Dolls. After the Murderdolls temporarily suspended their activities in 2004 , Slade acted as a guitarist in the punk / metal crossover band Amen for their tour of Japan .
Slade played rhythm guitar parts in the song "Tired 'N Lonely" in the collective team of Roadrunner United in honor of the 25th anniversary of Roadrunner label. He collaborated with Joey Jordison , who also played in the Murderdolls. After the collapse of Trashlight Vision, Slade became a member of Wednesday 13 during their 2008 tour.
Slade is one of the authors of Sex Tips from Rock Stars by Paul Miles , which was released by Omnibus Press in July 2010 and was also used as a Motion-capture model for the characters Punk Singer and Rock Guitarist for the video game Rock Band 2.
Currently, Eisi is promoting his new band Acey Slade & the Dark Party, whose debut album The Dark Party was released in 2010 [1] , and also plays the bass guitar in Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and occasionally acts as bassist- Sessionary in Dope. In 2015, Eysey Slade recorded [2] a Valentines for Sick Minds solo album.
Return to Dope
On September 25, 2015, Dope announced on the official website [3] a reunion tour in Russia and Ukraine . The tour is notable for the fact that it was attended by members of the classical composition of the group, as during the recording of the album Life , namely: the permanent frontman Edsel Doup, Asa Slade, Vayrus and Reissy Shea Hart.
