Brazilian-Jamaican relations are bilateral diplomatic relations between Brazil and Jamaica .

History

In 2008, Alexander Ruben Milito was appointed Ambassador of Brazil to Jamaica. In 2012, the Jamaican government opened a diplomatic mission in Brasilia , thereby contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two countries. Currently, Jamaica’s interests in Brazil are represented by the Charge d'Affaires, who heads the diplomatic mission. Jamaica is interested in developing a strategy to attract investments from Brazil, as well as to expand export opportunities for Jamaican products to the Brazilian market.
Jamaica and Brazil have been friends for many years, they also cooperate in such areas as: energy, tourism and agriculture.
