Content

History

The line was built in 1980. [1] . The freight line, passenger traffic along it was never carried out. Veseti quarry, which produces crushed stone for the needs of railway construction (ballast), belongs to the SJSC “Latvijas Dzelzcels”, which produces about 7000 cars of crushed stone per year. Jaunkalsnava and Veseta stations also perform maintenance of rolling stock [2] . The maximum speed on the line should not exceed 25 km / h.
