Ravi Crater ( lat. Ravi ) is a small impact crater in the northeastern part of the bowl of Alphonse Crater on the visible side of the moon . The name is assigned by the Indian male name and approved by the International Astronomical Union in 1976.

Crater Description
The nearest neighbors of the crater are Chan Ngo craters of similar size in the south-west and Monira , Jose and Sorava in the east-south-east [1] .
Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 1.6 km [2] , depth 450 m [3] .
Ravi Crater is located on one of the branches of the furrows in the bowl of Alphonse Crater, has a circular cup-shaped shape with no noticeable structures. The shaft height above the surrounding area reaches 90 m [3] , the volume of the crater is approximately 0.6 km³ [3] .
