She graduated from the university with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, after which Coco Chanel began working as a fashion model for the house, quickly becoming the favorite model of the latter. In the late 1950s. worked for two years for the fashion house Guy Laroche , then returned to Chanel. For some time she was the director of the house of Chanel, then she founded her own fashion house, which did not bring her success. Arno's photographs appeared on the covers of Elle and Life magazines, her short affair with Robert Ossein was the focus of gossip.
In 1956-1964 I tried myself as a film actress, playing small roles in five films, mainly directed by Andre Yunebel . The most significant of them is the role of Lady Beltam in the film “ Fantômas ” (1964), Arno also appeared in the episode (without indication in the credits) of the famous musical comedy “ Zhizhi ” (1958).
Marie-Helene Arno died on October 6, 1986, at the age of 52. It was found dead in its own bathroom, the cause of death has not been established.
