Biography
He studied with Jan Felix Pivarsky and in the private school of painting and drawing A. Kokular , later he studied painting in Vienna .
After completing his studies, he traveled to Italy , Switzerland , France and Germany . Returning to his homeland, he settled in Warsaw, where he organized a restoration workshop.
He was considered one of the most talented restorers of his time. He took an active part in the artistic life of the Polish capital. In 1860-1887 he regularly exhibited his works at art exhibitions in Warsaw.
V. Guminsky - one of the pioneers of outdoor painting in Poland.
He taught painting at schools in Warsaw.
His works show the influence of the first teacher, Jan Felix Pivarsky .
He was buried at the Old Powzki cemetery in Warsaw.
